LHH is seeking an experienced B2B Collections Specialist for one of our clients in Columbus, OH. As a B2B Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. You will play a crucial role in the financial health of the company by reducing delinquent accounts and improving cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a large portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.

  • Conduct regular follow-up calls and emails to customers regarding overdue payments.

  • Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with customers.

  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and customer interactions.

  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Finance, Sales, and Customer Support, to resolve any billing issues or disputes.

  • Utilize Excel to track and analyze collection data, generate reports, and identify trends.

  • Prepare and send demand letters and other collection correspondence as needed.

  • Monitor accounts for potential write-offs and recommend appropriate actions.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in B2B or Commercial Collections.

  • Experience working for a large or mid-sized company is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.



Pay Details: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
