Our client, a reputable company in Columbus, OH, is seeking a dedicated Human Resources/Payroll Specialist to join their team. This position, will play a crucial role in supporting payroll taxes, auditing payroll, and handling new hire onboarding, terminations, and general HR duties. Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Manage and process payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.

  • Payroll Taxes: Support payroll tax filings and resolve any related issues.

  • Auditing: Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Onboarding: Handle new hire onboarding, including paperwork, orientation, and system setup.

  • Terminations: Manage the termination process, ensuring all documentation is completed and final pay is processed correctly.

  • HR Duties: Assist with general HR duties, including employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in payroll processing and HR.

  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.



Pay Details: $48,000.00 to $64,000.00 per year
