Maintenance Technician (Day Shift)
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 based on experience
Hours: Monday through Friday Day Shift
LHH is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with experience in an industrial environment. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, looking to take on more responsibility in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maintaining and optimizing plant equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and supporting operational goals.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on plant equipment.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become critical.
Collaborate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production schedules.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and protocols.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies, providing effective solutions to keep production on track.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Experience with maintenance management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teams across different departments to achieve organizational goals.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and maintenance optimization practices is a plus.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
