Maintenance Technician (Day Shift)

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 based on experience

Hours: Monday through Friday Day Shift

LHH is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with experience in an industrial environment. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, looking to take on more responsibility in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maintaining and optimizing plant equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and supporting operational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on plant equipment.

  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become critical.

  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production schedules.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and protocols.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies, providing effective solutions to keep production on track.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

  • Experience with maintenance management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams across different departments to achieve organizational goals.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and maintenance optimization practices is a plus.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
