Job Summary: The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and maintaining accurate payroll records. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, hours worked, and pay rates.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Prepare and distribute payroll reports and statements.
Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and payroll processing.
Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Payroll Coordinator or similar role.
Strong knowledge of payroll processes, laws, and regulations.
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
