Our client, located on the west side of Columbus, is searching for a skilled Staff Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in accounting and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Minimum of 2 years of general ledger experience.

• Experience in the logistics industry is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
