LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Payroll Specialist job opportunity for the corporate office located in Concord, CA. This position is in office 100%! The ideal candidate will have 4 years of payroll experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing the payroll for the entire organization and have experience using ADP. The role will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This job is essential in maintaining employee satisfaction and ensuring the workforce is well taken care of.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process payroll for 200 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain payroll records and data, including hours worked, overtime, and employee benefits.
  • Handle employee inquiries and issues related to payroll in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with HR and Accounting departments to ensure seamless payroll processes.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management as required.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a construction or related industry.
  • Proficiency in payroll software ADP.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.

Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience as a Payroll professional (Payroll Specialist, Payroll Manager)
