LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently collaborating with a Conshohocken, PA-based construction firm to find a qualified candidate for a temporary position as an Accounts Payable Specialist. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals with expertise in managing accounts payable processes and seeking short-term employment in the construction industry.
Temporary Accounts Payable (3-Month Contract)
Salary: $22- $25/hr.
Location: King of Prussia
We are currently in search of an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to join our dynamic team for a 3-month contractual period. The selected candidate will be instrumental in managing invoice operations, maintaining vendor relations, and executing timely financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- **Invoice Management**: Verify the accuracy and completeness of invoices, assign appropriate accounting and departmental codes, and ensure prompt and precise entry into the financial system.
- **Vendor Communication**: Address and resolve any invoice discrepancies or payment queries with vendors, and reconcile vendor statements to clear any pending issues.
- **Financial Transactions**: Conduct regular payment cycles, either weekly or bi-weekly, adhering to vendor agreements and internal policies, and keep meticulous records of all transactions.
- **Regulatory Adherence**: Support month-end financial closing processes specific to AP, produce necessary AP reports for management, and maintain compliance with both internal guidelines and external regulatory standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in an Accounts Payable role or a related field.
- Exceptional focus on detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Superior organizational skills coupled with efficient time management.
- Effective communication abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
