LHH/Accounting Principals is hiring for a tax accountant in the Coral Springs, FL area. Our client is looking for a tax accountant with a strong background. This is an in office opportunity with a great company that offers excellent benefits.

Responsibilities to include:

• Research and maintain tax and financial records for clients

• Create feasible budgets and strategies to help clients stay within budget

• Prepare, complete, and file tax returns for individuals and companies

• Monitor and respond to tax authority communications

• Use accounting procedures to identify any potential risks for fraud

• Offer advice and suggestions on reducing costs and improving profits

• Prepare tax forms and documents

• Assist clients with tax audits

You are a great fit if:

• Tax return preparation experience with 1120s, 1065, 1040 required

• Strong general accounting skills

• Great excel skills

• Great communication skills

• Great prior work stability

• Prior public accounting experience 5 plus years

• Accounting/Finance degree CPA a plus
