Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Benefits and Onboarding Specialist for our client in Covington, KY. This role is perfect for a dynamic individual with a passion for HR and employee engagement. As a Benefits and Onboarding Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires and managing employee benefits programs. Key Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration:
Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to employee benefits.
Collaborate with benefits providers and vendors to address employee concerns and resolve issues promptly.
Onboarding Coordination:
Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation sessions to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
Prepare and process new hire paperwork, including I-9s, tax forms, and other required documents.
Partner with hiring managers to ensure new employees are set up for success from day one.
Provide new hires with information about company policies, procedures, and culture.
Employee Engagement:
Act as a liaison between employees and management regarding benefits and onboarding-related matters.
Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace environment.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HR systems and databases.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure all benefits and onboarding processes comply with applicable labor laws and regulations.
Prepare reports and analyze data related to benefits and onboarding metrics.
Assist in audits and prepare documentation for regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in benefits administration and/or onboarding.
Strong knowledge of HR practices, benefits administration, and relevant labor laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
