The HR & Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing the company’s payroll processes and HR functions. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of payroll systems and HR practices. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, compliance with labor laws, and support various HR activities.
Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs.
Manage HRIS and ensure data integrity.
Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.
Administer employee records, including hiring, termination, and changes in employment status.
Conduct employee orientation and training programs.
Assist with performance management and employee relations issues.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or related field.
3+ years of experience in payroll processing and HR.
Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations
Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm Mon-Fri
Type: Contract to hire
Pay: $26.00-$30.00 an hour
