Job Title: Accounts Receivable
Location: Culver City, CA - HYBRID
Pay Rate: $25-28/hr
Responsibilities:
Apply cash receipts to payment lines on booking reports and ensure accuracy.
Investigate and resolve cash receipts with missing or incorrect information by contacting relevant parties.
Update client profiles and bookings as necessary based on cash receipts.
Attach relevant supporting documents to the appropriate payment lines.
Correct any misapplied receipts through refunds or fund transfers.
Collaborate with team members to address held checks or other Trust accounting issues promptly.
Manage the trading and release of escrow funds on scheduled dates.
Close bookings that are fully paid and meet specific criteria.
Respond to agent and client inquiries regarding cash receipts, corrections, reissues, or payments received.
Coordinate with other teams to ensure smooth operations.
Perform additional tasks to support the team as needed.
Escalate issues to the Supervisor when necessary.
Participate in system and process improvement projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum of 3 years of finance/accounting experience required.
Experience in reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
Preferred background in the Entertainment Industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and uphold company culture.
Proven ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities.
Thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand, and dynamic corporate environment.
High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skilled in 10-key by touch.
Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Proactive in seeking additional work when needed.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
