A global investment and asset management firm is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant to support corporate operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working across 200+ entities, processing high-volume invoices, and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This person must be self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining strong cross-functional communication.
Responsibilities:
Full-cycle AP processing: vendor invoices, credit cards, expense reports
Process high-volume ACH and wire payments across 200+ entities
Ensure accurate GL coding and application of company-wide chart of accounts
Research and resolve AP discrepancies, vendor inquiries, and payment issues
Support month-end close processes and assist with external audits
Prepare 1099s, 571-Ls, and reporting as required
Partner closely with Accounting, Legal, and other internal teams
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in corporate AP or general accounting
Strong experience in multi-entity environments (100+ entities preferred)
Familiar with GL coding, expense classification, and corporate reporting cycles
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
Excel proficiency required (pivot tables, formulas, lookups)
ERP experience preferred (Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft, or similar)
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
