Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for managing cash operations? LHH is seeking an Assistant Cash Manager in Dallas to join their dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, particularly in the real estate industry. Salary is $70,000-$85,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily cash operations, managing both incoming and outgoing transactions efficiently.

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the company's cash position.

  • Analyze budgetary needs and financial reports to predict cash requirements and positions.

  • Utilize cash receipts and disbursements to forecast daily cash positions.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial transactions.

  • Improve efficiency in cash collections, funds transfers, cash disbursements, and month-end account closing activities.

  • Coordinate with banks for the opening of new accounts and address any account issues or queries.

  • Maintain a backup for all financial data and coordinate quarterly distributions to investors.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

  • B.A./B.S. degree in accounting or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the real estate industry.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in advanced Excel skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
