LHH is assisting an Uptown Law Firm seek a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal. You must have commercial real estate experience at a law firm and title and survey experience is required. This position requires a highly organized, self-motivated individual who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high degree of professionalism, and enjoys a team-oriented working environment.

Benefits:

  • Salary ranges from $65,000 - $85,000 DOE
  • Discretionary year-end bonus available based on performance and firm financials.

  • 20 PTO Days, 1 Floating holiday and 9 firm holidays

Must-Haves:

  • Strong Tenure at current/previous positions
  • 4+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm setting
  • Prior experience in commercial real estate at a law firm including:
  • Title review
  • Survey review
  • Strongly Preferred Education/Certification (one of the following):
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Paralegal certificate or Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies
  • Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) designation\

Responsibilities:

  • Support shareholder(s) in the commercial real estate practice with opportunities to grow within the team.
  • Role is part of a large and well-established real estate development group.
  • Billable Hours Requirement: 125 hours/month (based on productivity/collections).
  • Training: Billable expectations will be taught during a ramp-up period. Training will be in-office and supervised by the practice group and attorneys.
  • Work Environment: Candidates should be comfortable working onsite. A hybrid arrangement may be considered based on performance after the training phase.
  • This is a growth-oriented position with long-term development opportunities.

Interview Process:

  • Step 1: Initial phone interview with HR to provide mutual insight into the firm and the role.
  • Step 2: If mutually aligned, a follow-up video or in-person interview with team members in the office.
  • Decision: Typically made after the second round. The process generally consists of two steps
