Controller ($150K-$180K) - Onsite

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Controller for a leading auction company in Dallas. This high-level role involves overseeing financial planning and analysis, driving growth, and improving accounting processes. The ideal candidate will hold their CPA and have retail industry experience and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the monthly closing process and the preparation of financial statements.

• Streamline the organizational structure and workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.

• Lead accounting department managers in conducting periodic reviews and analyzing issues.

• Manage the monthly closing process and financial statement preparation, ensuring adherence to internal controls and performing root cause analysis.

• Recruit and maintain a well-trained and educated accounting team.

Client Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business - Accounting required; CPA highly preferred; master’s preferred.

• Experience with Microsoft GP highly preferred.

• 5+ years’ experience in a managerial role.

• Thorough understanding of Corporate Finance and Accounting Principles.
