Director of Accounting ($120K-$125K) – Hybrid in Richardson
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Controller for a leading organization in the education industry, based in Richardson, TX. This role involves overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the executive team. A CPA license and strong experience with U.S. GAAP is required.

Responsibilities:
Supervise the fiscal operations of the organization, ensuring adherence to GAAP, Board policies, and applicable laws.
Lead audit preparation efforts and collaborate with public accounting firms to complete the annual audit and Form 990.
Oversee the creation, management, and implementation of the company’s budget, ensuring financial stability.
Manage day-to-day cash and treasury operations, including reviewing cash and investment balances.
Oversee debt service activities, including managing bond issuances, payments, and ensuring compliance with bond covenants.
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the Board, bondholders, rating agencies, and banks.
Maintain effective communication with co-workers, management, and other stakeholders in a professional manner.
Ensure compliance with all company regulations, policies, and work procedures.
Compile, maintain, and file all required reports, records, and other documentation.
Follow established safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Client Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
A CPA license is required
Proficiency in U.S. GAAP
Demonstrated experience in project management and fiscal oversight
Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
