LHH is excited to announce an opening for a permanent position for a Legal Billing Specialist in North Dallas, offering a competitive salary range of $65K-$75K. This role is ideal for candidates with over 3 years of experience in legal billing, particularly within an insurance defense law firm. If you're seeking a new challenge, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities:
Portal billing with multiple portals.
Print and distribute proformas to attorneys.
Process client invoices using Elite software.
Submit invoices through the E-Billing Hub or designated client e-bill site.
Collect necessary backup documentation for costs to submit through the E-Billing Hub.
Follow up on rejected items through the E-Billing Hub and handle appeals.
Provide billing information upon request.
Sort and file correspondence.
Maintain regular communication with clients and all relevant parties.
Demonstrate consistent follow-through and flexibility to manage multiple tasks while balancing priorities.
Collaborate effectively with team members and provide exceptional customer service.
Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and work independently with sound judgment.
Handle special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience working in an insurance defense firm is preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain regular contact with clients and team members.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Superior problem-solving ability and ability to work independently.
Experience with Elite and E-Billing Hub is preferred.
