As a Revenue Cycle Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing financial performance through effective management of the revenue cycle process. This position requires expertise in medical billing, coding, and reimbursement procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of medical claims to insurance providers.

  • Review and assign appropriate codes to diagnoses and procedures for billing purposes.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve coding discrepancies.

  • Monitor the status of submitted claims and follow up on unpaid or denied claims.

  • Investigate and appeal rejected claims to ensure maximum reimbursement.

  • Provide clear and concise explanations of patient balances and payment options.

  • Process patient payments, refunds, and adjustments accurately.

  • Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in the revenue cycle process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management.

  • Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification preferred.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
