LHH is partnering with a dynamic healthcare organization to find a skilled Senior Accountant. This position offers a competitive salary of $90-105K plus a discretionary bonus, a full benefits package, and a hybrid work schedule (4 days in-office, 1 day remote) after training. Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
Maintain, record, and post transactions in the general ledger.
Reconcile trial balance accounts and ensure accuracy.
Prepare detailed financial reports for management.
Work with other departments to strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes.
Assist in tax-related tasks and working with outside contractors.
Accrue expenses and costs across multiple accounts.
Support the preparation of audit schedules and provide assistance during audits.
Enhance ERP systems to align with business needs and improve operational efficiency.
Maintain detailed documentation of all accounting procedures and workflows.
Contribute to special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
4+ years of experience in an accounting role, preferably as a Sr. Accountant or team leader.
Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Journal Entries is required
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for accounting and financial purposes
Experience with Month End Close procedures
Knowledge and hands-on experience with major ERP
