Tax Manager (Salary Range: $120,000 – $160,000)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Tax Manager for an alternative investment firm headquartered in Dallas, TX. This position is responsible for managing the tax compliance and consulting needs of the firm’s investment funds, management companies, and partners.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience, including time with a Big 4 firm, and hold a degree in Accounting or Finance with a strong academic record. A CPA is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Manage tax compliance and consulting across funds, partners, and management companies

• Coordinate with internal teams to gather financial data and support tax reporting

• Oversee domestic and international tax filings and related reporting (e.g., 1099s, 1042s)

• Monitor tax exposure and support annual audit requirements

• Lead special projects and contribute to process improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance

• CPA strongly preferred

• 4+ years of experience, including Big 4 public accounting

• Solid understanding of fund and partnership taxation

• Excellent communication and time management skills
