Accounting Supervisor

📍 Deerfield, IL 60015

🕘 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8 AM–5 PM or 9 AM–6 PM

Pay Rate: Up to $55/hour based off experience level

A growing organization in Deerfield, IL is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant for an onsite role. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex financial operations while collaborating with a supportive and driven team.

This is an ideal role for someone who is technically strong in accounting, analytical in their approach, and enthusiastic about contributing to process improvements and team success.

🧾 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general accounting functions including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and GAAP reporting

• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations

• Identify and resolve accounting errors and discrepancies

• Analyze accounts and recommend adjustments

• Create financial reports, summaries, and supplemental data

• Execute and manage general ledger transactions, including cash, leases, and fixed assets

• Assist with internal control testing and SOX compliance

• Provide support for financial and tax audits

• Analyze inventory data and assist with inventory-related reporting

• Participate in process improvements and ad hoc projects

🎓 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 8+ years of accounting experience; multinational experience preferred

• Solid knowledge of GAAP and SOX

• Expert in Microsoft Excel functions and formulas

• Experience with accounting systems such as SAP or Blackline is a plus

• CPA certification is a bonus, but not required
