We are seeking a detail-oriented and Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in AP operations, vendor management, and financial systems like NetSuite. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations across multiple departments and entities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounts payable for multiple vendors and departments
Review, validate, and process invoices in accordance with company policies
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and execute weekly payment runs
Collaborate with procurement, legal, and finance teams to ensure contract compliance
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Maintain accurate records and support audit readiness
Participate in system upgrades and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable; 10+ years preferred
Experience in telecommunications, healthcare, tech, or investment industries is a plus
Proficiency in NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros)
Strong understanding of GAAP compliance and financial controls
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred
Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
