Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement policies and strategies that align with the business objectives and values of the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to senior management and stakeholders on all procurement matters, including sourcing, contracting, purchasing, risk management, and supplier performance.
- Lead and coach a team of procurement professionals and ensure the delivery of high-quality procurement services and solutions.
- Manage procurement projects and initiatives and drive continuous improvement and innovation in procurement practices and processes.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to procurement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Master's degree or procurement certification is preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a senior procurement role.
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in all areas of procurement, including strategic sourcing, contract management, category management, supplier relationship management, and cost savings.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive results and deliver value.
- Proactive, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Compensation and Benefits
