Human Resources and Compliance Generalist

Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Human Resources and Compliance Generalist job in Denver, CO. To qualify, you must have at least 3 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar Human Resources and Safety Compliance role.

This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn a salary between $65,000 and $75,000. You will also be eligible for this company’s competitive benefits package (details below).

Responsibilities:

  • Addressing employee questions regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and employee relations

  • Recruiting and onboarding new employees

  • Maintaining employee information in the HRIS

  • Administering benefits: enrollments, changes, questions, etc.

  • Implementing and enforcing HR and safety policies and procedures

  • Conducting on-site safety audits

  • Monitoring monthly environmental checks

  • Assisting Supervisors with conducting safety investigations of incidents and near misses

  • Developing, assigning, and tracking safety and compliance training

  • Maintaining all safety documentation and logs

  • Maintaining compliance with all relevant safety regulations, environmental requirements, etc.

  • All other related tasks as required

    Qualifications:


  • At least 3 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Proficiency with UKG software preferred but not required

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant subject preferred but not required

  • SHRM-CP preferred

  • Ability to travel to various job sites for safety walkthrough audits (10% of your time)

    Compensation:


  • Annual salary between $65,000 and $75,000
