Position: Litigation Paralegal (Plaintiff side)
Location: Denver, CO -Hybrid
Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000

Are you passionate about the legal field and dedicated to seeking justice for plaintiffs? LHH is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our client's team in Denver, CO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis.

  • Organize and review case documents and evidence meticulously.

  • Draft various legal documents, including pleadings and correspondence.

  • Support attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials.

  • Maintain and manage case files, ensuring proper filing of all documents.

  • Facilitate communication with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.

  • Summarize depositions, trial transcripts, and other critical legal documents.

  • Prepare and submit court documents, such as motions and briefs.

  • Assist in developing and executing case strategies.

  • Oversee the discovery process, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and requests for production.

  • Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses.

  • Stay informed of current laws and regulations relevant to the field.

  • Collaborate with other paralegals and legal assistants on large-scale document reviews.

  • Ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural rules.

  • Assist in settlement negotiations and draft settlement agreements.

  • Provide trial preparation support, including creating exhibits and organizing materials.

  • Manage mass tort claim filings and settlements.

  • Uphold client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in mass tort and personal injury cases.

  • High school diploma required; an Associate's degree or paralegal certificate is preferred.

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

  • Familiarity with legal terminology, research, docketing, and electronic filings.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in preparing medical chronologies is preferred.

  • Experience with document management systems is advantageous.

  • Strong ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with attorneys, supervisors, colleagues, clients, and external vendors.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to perform well under tight deadlines.
