Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our client’s team in Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong experience in case management, discovery, and trial preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage case files from inception through trial and post-trial, ensuring all documents are properly organized and deadlines are tracked
- Draft and prepare legal documents such as subpoenas, deposition notices, discovery requests/responses, pretrial disclosures, and exhibit lists
- Assist attorneys with e-filing in both state and federal courts (Colorado District Court and U.S. District Court)
- Conduct factual and legal research to support case strategies
- Coordinate and manage document productions, including reviewing, organizing, and labeling exhibits using litigation support software
- Assist with deposition and trial preparation, including assembling witness files, trial notebooks, and trial exhibits
- Manage calendaring of litigation deadlines and court dates in coordination with attorneys and docketing staff
- Summarize depositions, medical records, and other discovery materials
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience
- Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program
- Strong knowledge of Colorado state and federal court rules and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and litigation tools (e.g., Relativity, CaseMap, or similar software)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
