Senior Accountant

Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading financial services company to fill their open Senior Accountant job in Denver, CO. This is a HYBRID job opportunity where you will earn between $85,000 and $95,000. You will also be eligible for this company’s competitive benefits package (details below).

Please note that this is a HYBRID job opportunity. You will be required to work in the office in Denver 3 days per week. You may work from home the other 2 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing journal entries, financial analyses, and financial statements including supporting documentation, income statements, balance sheets


• Monthly account reconciliations


• Making recommendations related to accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures


• Assisting with implementing new procedures and systems in the accounting department


• Filing and maintaining Corporate Accounting data


• Creating current state assessment documents with gaps including process, technology, controls, and changes documented


• Developing future state process maps


• Working with process owners to identify and resolve emerging issues


• All other related tasks as required

  Qualifications:



• At least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role


• Experience in public accounting required


• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance required


• Strong analytical skills


• Excellent attention to detail

  Compensation:



• Annual salary between $85,000 and $95,000
