Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a Denver-based firm to find a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Paralegal with extensive complex litigation experience. This role involves collaborating with attorneys and support staff to handle litigation in both state and federal courts. Experience in environmental litigation is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Manage cases throughout all litigation phases, including pre-litigation, trial preparation, and post-trial motions
- Organize and manage electronic data, including bates-stamping, scanning, coding, and performing document searches for complex cases
- Maintain regular communication with clients to obtain and organize necessary documentation
- Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of required tasks
- Assist attorneys in developing case strategies and preparing trial exhibits
- Maintain privilege logs and assist with hearing and trial proceedings
- Handle court filings, manage documents, and oversee discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery and deposition notices
Qualifications:
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent qualifications as defined by applicable regulations
- At least 7 years of experience as a paralegal in complex litigation
- Proven ability to prepare cases for trial and provide trial support
- Skilled in drafting legal documents and correspondence under attorney supervision
- Proficiency with Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and e-discovery tools such as PACER, Lexis, Everlaw, and FileVine
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage time-sensitive projects under tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
