LHH is seeking a skilled Senior Paralegal to support our client's expanding law firm.
Role: Senior Paralegal - preferably experienced in mass tort and personal injury
Scheduled work hours: 9 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday
Pay: $72,800 -$93,600
Essential Job Functions
- Prepare medical chronologies for cases
- Conduct legal document reviews
- Maintain client and firm confidentiality
- Assist attorneys in deposition preparation
- Support expert generation and preparation of expert reports/discovery
- Organize and maintain attorney trial documents, case notebooks, expert witness binders, and exhibit lists
- Prepare correspondence and legal documents
- Collaborate with attorneys on case status updates
- Collect case evidence and documentation
- Perform e-filing in state and federal courts
- Draft various court pleadings
- Schedule and coordinate depositions with defense, witnesses, experts, and clients
- Monitor case calendars and court deadlines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5-7+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in mass tort and personal injury
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred
- Knowledge of legal and medical terminology, research, docketing, and electronic filings for Colorado
- Experience in document management and preparing medical chronologies preferred
