Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading healthcare company to fill their open Sr. Revenue Cycle Specialist job. This is a TEMPORARY job opportunity where you will earn $18.00 and $27.00. You will also be eligible to sign up for LHH’s benefits programs (details below). Depending on our client’s needs and your performance, this could result in a permanent position in the company.
Responsibilities:
- Working through lists of outstanding claim balances and patient accounts
- Identifying trends and performing root cause analysis for unpaid/underpaid claims
- Conducting in-depth research
- Contacting payers over phone, e-mail, payor portals, etc.
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Obtaining insurance authorizations or referrals as needed
- Addressing patient denials
- Documenting payer interactions and maintaining confidentiality
Qualifications:
- At least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Previous experience with healthcare revenue cycle required
Compensation:
- Hourly rate between $18.50 and $27.00
