We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Account Manager to join a sales team. This is a HYBRID role. This role will serve as the primary liaison between our organization and key OEM customers, with a strong focus on managing the Ford customer portal and supporting Tier 1 automotive programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer coordination, a solid grasp of EDI systems, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage customer orders, releases, and shipments through Ford systems such as PCMS, WERS, and CMMS
Monitor customer demand and delivery schedules, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and issue resolution
Coordinate cross-functionally with planning, logistics, and quality to guarantee on-time deliveries and high customer satisfaction
Support quoting activities, change documentation, and cost tracking related to customer programs
Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and pricing data in internal ERP/MRP systems
Resolve delivery discrepancies, shortages, and pricing issues quickly and professionally
Assist key account managers or outside sales teams during program launches and ongoing account management
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in automotive inside sales, customer service, or account coordination
Direct experience using Ford customer portals (e.g., PCMS, WERS, CMMS) is required
Familiarity with Tier 1 automotive processes and EDI systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
Experience with ERP/MRP platforms such as SAP, QAD, or Plex is a plus
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
