We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Account Manager to join a sales team. This is a HYBRID role. This role will serve as the primary liaison between our organization and key OEM customers, with a strong focus on managing the Ford customer portal and supporting Tier 1 automotive programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer coordination, a solid grasp of EDI systems, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer orders, releases, and shipments through Ford systems such as PCMS, WERS, and CMMS

  • Monitor customer demand and delivery schedules, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and issue resolution

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with planning, logistics, and quality to guarantee on-time deliveries and high customer satisfaction

  • Support quoting activities, change documentation, and cost tracking related to customer programs

  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and pricing data in internal ERP/MRP systems

  • Resolve delivery discrepancies, shortages, and pricing issues quickly and professionally

  • Assist key account managers or outside sales teams during program launches and ongoing account management

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in automotive inside sales, customer service, or account coordination

  • Direct experience using Ford customer portals (e.g., PCMS, WERS, CMMS) is required

  • Familiarity with Tier 1 automotive processes and EDI systems

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook

  • Experience with ERP/MRP platforms such as SAP, QAD, or Plex is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills



Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
