About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and support a client’s HR operations in Detroit. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in full-cycle recruiting, payroll administration, and benefits management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
Oversee full-cycle payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Maintain compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
Support employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on recruiting, payroll, and benefits administration.
Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems especially.
Experience managing payroll.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
