About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and support a client’s HR operations in Detroit. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in full-cycle recruiting, payroll administration, and benefits management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.

  • Oversee full-cycle payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Maintain compliance with labor laws and internal policies.

  • Support employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on recruiting, payroll, and benefits administration.

  • Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems especially.

  • Experience managing payroll.

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification.



Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
