Commercial Litigation Paralegal

Location: Detroit, Hybrid

Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 (DoE)

A leading national law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys throughout all phases of business litigation, from pre-trial through post-trial activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trial procedures and complex business litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from initial filing to final resolution

  • Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, and case summaries

  • Organize and maintain case files, pleadings, and discovery documents

  • Assist with trial preparation, including witness coordination and exhibit preparation

  • Manage trial logistics and serve as the primary contact during trial

  • Provide on-site support during trials and hearings

  • Handle post-trial tasks, including drafting settlement agreements and managing case files

  • Coordinate communication with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of business litigation and trial experience

  • Paralegal certificate or Bachelor’s degree from an ABA-approved program

  • Proficiency with legal software and e-discovery tools (e.g., Lexis, Relativity)

  • Open to travel and work extended hours during trial periods



Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
