LHH Recruitment Solutions is proactively recruiting experienced Corporate Transactions Paralegals for anticipated contract opportunities with law firms and in-house legal teams across Chicago. Key Responsibilities:
Draft and review contracts and transactional documents, including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, NDAs, amendments, and joint venture documents
Assist with the organization, tracking, and administration of contract lifecycles from initial draft through execution and renewal
Coordinate with attorneys, internal stakeholders, and external counsel to support deal execution and documentation
Conduct and manage due diligence tasks such as ordering and reviewing title reports, surveys, entity documents, and public record materials
Assist in the preparation of closing binders, signature packets, and post-closing documentation
Maintain organized files and contract management databases, and track critical dates and obligations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience supporting corporate or commercial transactions (real estate, M&A, or contract administration experience is a plus)
Familiarity with corporate governance documents, deal timelines, and closing processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract/document management software
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Notary Public certification (preferred but not required)
