Are you looking for a stable company with great benefits in the Tir-Valley area? If that’s what you’re looking for we may have the right job opportunity for you. LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Payroll Specialist for one of our customers located in Pleasanton, California. This position is 100% in-office! The ideal candidate will have weekly payroll processing experience handling a high volume of employee’s. This position will report to the payroll manager and be a part of a small team. The role is very automated and will process union and non-union payroll. You will be responsible for reviewing and verifying timesheets, processing garnishments, new hire paperwork including I-9’s and W-4’s, assisting employees with payroll related questions, and perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Strong payroll professional with knowledge in relevant payroll laws, regulations and requirements to ensure compliance
- Payroll experience managing a weekly payroll and high volume (Preferred 500 + employees)
- Union Payroll experience would be a plus
- Industry experience in construction preferred
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel - Intermediate)
- Excellent communications (verbal & written)
- Detailed, reliable, organized, and confidential
- Team player, able to multi-task, prioritize, gets the work done with a positive attitude

Experience: 2 years of payroll experience (Payroll Specialist, Payroll Technician, Payroll Clerk, Payroll Administrator)
