Job Title: Account Manager Type: Contract (to September) Location: Duluth, GA Pay Rate: $21-$24/hour


Job Description:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our clients team on a contract basis until September. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts and ensuring their satisfaction through timely issue resolution, efficient handling of purchase order discrepancies, and providing accurate product information. This role involves a variety of tasks including tracking shipments, handling pricing requests, and assisting customers with inquiries.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Resolve customer issues and problems within specified time frames.
  • Handle purchase order discrepancies promptly according to established deadlines.
  • Gather information to provide accurate product lead times and order ship dates.
  • Manage pricing requests and research existing quotes.
  • Track shipments.
  • Advise customers of credit denials and initiate credit and return authorization requests.
  • Initiate lost or damaged freight claims.
  • Promote focus products to achieve company sales and profit goals.
  • Assist customers with product applications and inquiries.
  • Collaborate closely with field representatives to provide superior service.
  • Perform various administrative functions including filing, data entry, and administrative support for the customer service department.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proactive "self-starter" who can work well without supervision.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with limited supervision.
  • High energy level and ability to prioritize heavy workload.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software programs such as Microsoft Office.
