LHH is seeking a well-rounded and detail-oriented HR Generalist to a wonderful hardware development company in Duluth, GA. This role blends core HR operations with a strong emphasis on data analysis and Excel proficiency. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing day-to-day HR functions while using data to uncover trends, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Administration
Manage onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
Administer benefits and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Support employee relations by addressing concerns and promoting a positive workplace culture.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
2. HR Data & Reporting
Collect, clean, and analyze HR data using Excel and HRIS tools.
Build dashboards and reports to track key metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement, compensation).
Translate data into actionable insights for HR and business leaders.
Support audits and compliance reporting with accurate data documentation.
3. Strategic Support
Partner with business leaders to identify workforce trends and challenges.
Use data to forecast staffing needs and support workforce planning.
Recommend solutions to improve retention, engagement, and performance.
4. Program & Policy Support
Assist in the development and rollout of HR programs (e.g., career development, recognition).
Contribute to compensation reviews and succession planning efforts.
Help refine HR policies based on data insights and employee feedback.
5. Collaboration & Communication
Act as a resource for employees and managers on HR-related topics.
Facilitate training sessions to improve data literacy and HR system usage.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between HR initiatives and business goals.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s a plus).
Experience: 2–5 years in an HR Generalist or HR Analyst role.
Skills:
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, charts).
Experience with HRIS platforms and data visualization tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Solid understanding of HR practices and compliance.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
