Schedule: Fully Onsite | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Description

The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately processing customer orders received via fax, internet, or mail. This role plays a key part in ensuring order accuracy, timely communication with customers, and coordination with internal teams. Training will be provided by current Order Entry Executives.


Responsibilities

  • Enter data from customer-generated purchase orders, including part numbers and shipping instructions

  • Review and edit orders for pricing and product specifications

  • Communicate unit prices and shipping dates via fax or email

  • Calculate total costs and prepare order forms

  • File and organize order records by received date

  • Route orders to Customer Service Representatives as needed

  • Compile statistics and prepare reports for management


Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 1+ year of experience in an office or clerical role; 2–3 years in data entry preferred

  • Typing speed of at least 40 WPM

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume environment

  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently

  • Team-oriented, quick learner, and open to feedback



Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
