Maintenance Technician

Location: Durham, NC

LHH is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians must be open to Swing Shifts with both electrical and mechanical expertise in Durham, NC. The ideal candidates will have experience with production equipment and may also have experience in facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and hardwire to prints
• Utilize test equipment such as multimeters, amp probes, and data recorders to troubleshoot electrical systems
• Plan and install various electrical equipment, including control panels, switchboards, junction boxes, and switches
• Troubleshoot electrical systems from 120Vac single-phase to 480Vac three-phase, as well as DC motors and control systems from 24Vdc to 120Vac
• Work with pneumatic systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in troubleshooting, schematics, pneumatics, VFDs, and PLCs
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems using test equipment
• Knowledge and experience in planning and installing electrical equipment
• Familiarity with troubleshooting 120Vac single-phase to 480Vac three-phase electrical systems, as well as DC motors and control systems from 24Vdc to 120Vac

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with production equipment maintenance
• Facilities maintenance experience is a plus
