Job Title: Leasing Agent
Location: East Palo Alto, CA
Pay: $26–$28 per hour
Contract through January 2026
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5pm
Overview:
We’re seeking a customer-focused Leasing Agent to support day-to-day leasing operations for a residential community in East Palo Alto. This is a temporary position through January 2026, offering a great opportunity to make an impact in a vital housing market.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet prospective residents and provide tours of the property
Assist applicants with the leasing process and paperwork
Respond to phone, email, and walk-in inquiries
Conduct background checks and verify rental applications
Support renewals, move-ins, and move-outs
Maintain accurate resident records and leasing files
Collaborate with maintenance and property management teams
Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and company policies
Qualifications:
At least 2 years prior experience with leasing, property management
Tax credit experience a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Comfortable using leasing software and Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
High school diploma or equivalent required
