About the Role: As a Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing design intent and producing effective technical solutions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and execute design through all phases of the project. Your expertise in electrical engineering and architectural design will be key in ensuring compliance with building codes and creating innovative design solutions.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and understand design intent to produce efficient technical solutions.
Collaborate with various professional disciplines to coordinate designs through all project phases.
Design components of building systems while adhering to architectural design and applicable codes.
Evaluate engineering design requirements and create detailed drawings for construction projects.
Perform calculations, code research, and material/building systems research.
Conduct site surveys and field reviews to document existing and new construction conditions.
Write engineering specifications for Project Manuals and review project products and services for compliance.
Qualifications:
Proficient in Engineering software including AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and electrical engineering design software.
Strong knowledge of building electrical systems, architectural design concepts, and building codes.
Post-secondary education in a related field and registration with a relevant professional engineering association.
7-10 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on building systems.
