About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our client's growing finance team in Edison, NJ. This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of accounting experience who is eager to expand their skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts

• Maintain and update financial records and reports

• Support accounts payable and receivable functions

• Assist with payroll entries and expense reporting

• Help prepare financial statements and audit documentation

• Collaborate with senior accountants and other departments as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
