lHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a manufacturing company located in Edison, NJ. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounting Clerk for a temporary-to-permanent opportunity. This fully onsite role is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting career in a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations, with a focus on accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and exposure to payroll and general ledger functions.

Job Title: Junior Accounting Clerk
Location: Edison, NJ Fully Onsite | Monday through Friday
Compensation: $50,000 – $65,000 annually
Employment Type: Temporary-to-Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

  • Assist with invoice generation, payment tracking, and vendor communications

  • Support payroll processing activities and ensure timely data entry

  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with general ledger entries

  • Prepare basic financial reports and assist with month-end close procedures

  • Organize and maintain accounting files and documentation

  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred

  • Familiarity with AR/AP processes and basic payroll functions

  • Exposure to general ledger accounting is a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, etc.)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent communication and time management skills
