Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our team. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting project managers and ensuring the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist project managers with planning, organizing, and controlling project activities.
Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment, and information.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate project objectives and resolve issues as they arise.
Assist in the procurement process by obtaining quotes, negotiating prices, and issuing purchase orders.
Track project expenses and ensure they align with budgets.
Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations.
Assist in the preparation of proposals, bids, and tender documents as needed.
Maintain organized project files and records.
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years in a similar role in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and best practices.
Experience with construction software (i.e. Blue Beam, Key Styles, Viewpoint, etc.)
Experience with working with LCPTracker is a plus
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
