The HR Director oversees recruitment, training, promotions, employee welfare, and employer/employee relations. This role involves interviewing candidates, resolving grievances, managing employee services, and advising the executive team on personnel matters. The Director also conducts salary reviews, supports in-service education, and maintains communication with staff to foster a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure applicant files are updated and compliant.

• Promote employee morale programs with executive approval.

• Conduct annual salary and wage comparisons.

• Undertake special studies as requested.

• Engage with staff to maintain morale and a professional atmosphere.

• Assist in defining hospital objectives and productivity standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 3+ years of healthcare experience in an acute care setting.

• Knowledge of hospital functions, personnel practices, and job analysis.

• Familiarity with labor laws, wage regulations, and ERISA guidelines.

• Experience with Joint Commission, HFAP, and union relations preferred.
