LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our client in Escondido, CA. This full-time direct hire opportunity offers a hybrid work environment after 60 days of in-office training (must live within Greater San Diego area).

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for supervising accounting staff, tax preparation, GL reconciliation, preparing journal entries and reviewing financial statements. This would be a great fit for an applicant with Multi-entity accounting experience and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

· Manage Accounts Payable functions, including submitting payroll and monthly retirement plan contributions

· Responsible for tax preparation, including depreciation schedules, preparing 1099s, and filing tax returns

· Prepare and analyze financial statements

· Perform GL reconciliations and prepare journal entries

· Assist with external audits

· Ability to supervise 2-3 associates

Qualifications:

· Associate’s degree or higher required

· QuickBooks Online and Desktop experience preferred

· Multi-entity accounting experience preferred

· Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards

· Strong communication skills

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
