LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dynamic individual to join our client's team as a Program Director in the Eureka, CA area.


Position Overview: The Program Director is responsible for overseeing a team of Crisis Intervention Specialists dedicated to providing behavioral health services to individuals experiencing acute crises. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. The Program Director will ensure the effective delivery of services, manage team performance, and collaborate with community partners to enhance service provision.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Leadership & Management: Provide leadership, supervision, and support to a team of Crisis Intervention Specialists. Ensure that the team delivers high-quality, client-centered services.


  • Program Development: Develop, implement, and continuously improve crisis intervention programs tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges.


  • Collaboration: Work closely with local agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations to coordinate care and services.


  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure that all services meet regulatory standards and best practices in the field. Oversee compliance with relevant state and federal regulations.


  • Training & Professional Development: Facilitate ongoing training and professional development opportunities for staff to ensure they are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills in crisis intervention and behavioral health.


  • Data Management: Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of program data to monitor outcomes and inform decision-making.


  • Budget Management: Manage the program budget, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining high service standards.


Qualifications:



  • Education: Master's degree in Behavioral Science (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, or a related field).


  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required.


  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and knowledge of local resources.


Working Conditions:



  • The position is based in Eureka, CA, and requires occasional travel within the region.


  • The role may require working outside of regular business hours to respond to emergencies.
