The Power Electronics Engineer will be responsible for developing high-power DC/DC converters and work with cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of control algorithms for DC/DC converters

  • Create simulation models using MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, PSIM, and SPICE to validate control strategies.

  • Select optimal converter topologies based on efficiency, size, and cost.

  • Design and optimize magnetic components (inductors, transformers) and power semiconductor devices (MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC/GaN).

  • Optimize switching characteristics, thermal management, and protection features.

  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system teams to integrate control algorithms.

  • Conduct simulations and tests to validate designs and identify improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field

  • Experience in control algorithms for DC/DC converters.

  • Proficiency in simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, SPICE).

  • Knowledge of power semiconductors, converter topologies, and control techniques.

  • Experience in high-voltage component design, system integration, and troubleshooting.
