Operations Support Specialist
We are looking for a full-time Operations Support Specialist to join our team. As an Operations Support Specialist, you will provide accurate and thorough bank operational and processing support within the department. You will ensure proper processing and maintenance of deposit products and services in accordance with department and regulatory guidelines, and within prescribed deadlines.
Essential Responsibilities
Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers, building and maintaining strong relationships.
Cash Management: Support functions like ACH, Remote Deposit Capture, Wire Transfers, Business Online Banking, and Bill Pay. Assist and train customers, process daily transmissions, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
Transaction Processing: Handle check adjustments, ACH returns, stop payments, wire transfers, and Regulation E claims and disputes accurately and timely.
Legal Processing: Manage garnishments, levies, Fed withholding, IOLTA/IRETA remittance, and dormant account monitoring.
Visa Credit Card Program: Open new accounts, process payments and disputes, provide customer support, and review reports for accuracy.
Account Maintenance: Perform various IRA and HSA account maintenance, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Reporting and Reconciliation: Independently reconcile daily reports, bank control accounts, and general ledgers. Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as requested.
Project Participation: Assist or lead projects for systems management and prepare records for department exams and audits.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office products and quick to adapt to new technologies.
Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Preferred coursework or certification in accounting, and 2 years of recent experience in bank operations or retail banking.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Office Environment: Climate-controlled business office with moderate noise levels.
Physical Demands: Frequent use of computer screens, office machinery, and communication with internal and external contacts.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, Fully onsite.
Pay Details: $26.00 to $33.00 per hour
