HR Analyst/Payroll Specialist Location: Fairfield, CA (Onsite) Salary: $75K - $85K Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible schedule available)



Position Overview


We are looking for an experienced HR Analyst/Payroll Specialist to join our HR team in Fairfield. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Excel (including VLOOKUP) and Paycom, with a focus on HRIS system management, payroll processing, and process improvements.



Key Responsibilities



  • HRIS Management: Manage HRIS functions, including payroll, reporting, recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration.


  • Training & Safety Initiatives: Lead the development and training of HR and safety programs.


  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with managers to streamline HR processes and enhance efficiency.


  • Policy Development: Contribute to creating and implementing company policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.


  • Safety Committee: Handle Workers' Compensation, Auto claims, driver safety, and compliance programs as a member of the Safety Committee.


  • Employee Engagement: Enhance employee satisfaction through programs, training, and incentive programs.



Required Skills & Qualifications



  • HRIS & Payroll: Experience with HRIS administration and payroll processing is a must.


  • Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of multiple HR software systems (Paycom, Paylocity, ADP, or similar).


  • Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in Excel and use of VLOOKUP is essential.


  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to work on complex projects independently.


  • Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.


  • Employment Laws: Knowledge of workplace laws and ability to maintain confidentiality.


  • Interpersonal Skills: Positive, approachable, and able to foster good relationships with employees and managers.



Education & Experience



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).


  • 4+ years of experience in Human Resources.


  • Minimum 2 years of HRIS and 2 years of payroll processing experience.


  • Experience with recruiting and onboarding through an HRIS.


  • Experience creating or contributing to company policies, procedures, and handbooks.


  • Familiarity with employment laws and project management from initiation to completion.

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year Search managed by: Brandie Bowen
